Estimate the work behind the visible feature
Two projects described as a catalogue can have very different scope. One may start with approved item records and reviewed documents. Another may need to reconcile competing specifications, identify useful language versions and establish how questions reach staff. The number of page templates does not explain that difference.
Faith Forge Labs scopes the development around the outcome, existing material and dependencies. Fees and timing are agreed for the project; this site does not publish a universal package price for work serving Lebanon.
Material that is ready changes the estimate
Approved product references, clear ownership and representative records allow the team to spend time implementing a known requirement. Disputed source information requires decisions first. A large file may be easy to import if its meaning is consistent; a small file can take more investigation if each row follows a different convention.
Language work also needs a defined boundary. A reviewed translation supplied in context differs from arranging a new review or discovering that a linked provider screen does not support the intended journey. State which versions are required and who supplies and approves them.
Connections include the exception path
Moving a value from one tool to another is only part of an integration. The scope needs supported access, mapping, failure evidence and a way for the responsible colleague to investigate an interrupted operation. Test accounts and provider restrictions may affect how the work can be demonstrated.
Third-party charges should be considered under their actual units and terms. Subscriptions, usage charges, hosting and specialist reviews should have identified owners. The cost guide examines a review queue that treats export timestamps as meaningful changes, and defines which changes actually require a person’s attention.
Assess inherited systems before promising a fixed repair
An unfamiliar application may need a bounded initial investigation to establish code access, dependencies and the change process. The assessment should produce findings and choices, not silently become an unlimited repair engagement.
We distinguish the immediate symptom from separate issues discovered nearby. A later decision can extend the scope when the evidence justifies it. Keeping that boundary visible helps the owner compare a targeted improvement with a larger replacement.
Budget for review and operation
The people approving product facts, language and business rules need time to participate. Test data, deployment preparation, documentation and successor practice are also work. Leaving them outside the estimate does not remove the need for them.
Ongoing care requires its own agreement about coverage, dependencies and escalation. A delivery budget should not assume indefinite support or uninterrupted provider availability.
Bring the current material, the first useful outcome and any financial constraint to the project discussion. The planning page helps expose the decisions most likely to affect the estimate.
